Release 120


This is a bugfix and modding API release.

  • Added a hack to make the game run with Java 9 or above (this is not supported; may cause errors and may fail in the future)
  • Ravine (Slamgrotte) can now be traversed backwards after beating it. 
  • Fixed a bug where the dock rail events would create softlocked save states if executed during the final boss.
  • Fixed a problem where it was possible to go out of bounds during the Corrupted Alexander battle.
  • Fixed a bug where the foundry crane could move in the wrong direction if a rotation lever was hit at a very specific time after the movement lever.
  • Fixed a rare warning when shutting down the audio system on exit.
  • Fixed a benign memory leak when using the OpenAL audio backend. 
  • A third audio backend (Competent Audio) is now available.
  • Fixed an issue where Main would invoke some Swing functions on a non-EDT thread, potentially causing unknown spurious bugs.
  • Added more menu button modes for game controllers where using all buttons for menu navigation led to poor results.
  • Reduced the likelyhood of failure to reload jinput.
  • Mitigated occasional visual glitches caused by particles around the edges of the screen.
  • Fixed an issue where the map loading progress bar went above 100% and then back to 99%.(edited)
